Wesley Milum and UPDATE Los Fresnos High School

Wesley Milum is the recipient of the $3,000, 2004 Dr. Lauro F. Cavazos Tech Prep Scholarship at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. Wesley is a graduate of Los Fresnos High School and is currently a student at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, studying to become a registered nurse.

2008 UPDATE: Wesley Milum is one of those people who keep working toward a goal until it is achieved. When he graduated from Los Fresnos High School in 2005, his goal was to become a Registered Nurse. Here, in the summer of 2008, he has almost reached his goal. After becoming a certified LVN he took a job at Valley Baptist Medical Center working in the emergency room. In December he will graduate from the University of Texas, Brownsville as a RN.

2009 UPDATE: This outstanding young man is now an RN and continues his service in the emergency room at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
