Delia Dominguez Counselor of the Year - High School Mercedes High School

DELIA DOMINGUEZ, Counselor, Mercedes High School, Mercedes ISD, is a multi-talented and caring individual who has been highly involved in Tech Prep programs and in giving her students the opportunity to visualize their futures after high school. She has served as an instructor for the Tech Prep Ready for the Real World Program and coordinated the Career Fair at her school for the last two years; and Dominquez is also currently a Tech Prep S-Team Member. Dominguez counsels daily with students about the opportunities available to them through Tech Prep. Furthermore, with all her other duties as a counselor and GED coordinator for her district, she finds the time in her schedule to serve as a mentor for students in the Real World program.
